The Gallup Bengals basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Grants Pirates to 58 in the Bengals non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bengals now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santa Fe for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Gallup will battle a Demons team coming off a 48-47 non-league win over St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM). The Demons record now stands at 5-10.

The Pirates (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM). The Elks/Elkettes enter the non-league contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Pojoaque Valley was defeated by Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM), 66-24, in a non-league contest.
