New York High School Basketball - Warwick overwhelms Goshen Central
January 10, 2023: Warwick, NY 10990 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Warwick Wildcats (Warwick, NY) and the visiting Goshen Central Gladiators (Goshen, NY), saw Warwick's basketball squad wallop Goshen Central by a tally of 52-19.
With the victory, Warwick advances its record to 9-2 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Newburgh Free Academy (Newburgh, NY) to encounter the Goldbacks in a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17. The Goldbacks go into the test with a record of 0-8.
The Gladiators now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Port Jervis for a Section 9 Orange County III test on Thursday, January 12. Goshen Central will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 59-17 league loss to Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 1-3.
