Tennessee High School Basketball - Maryville Christian can't hold off Scott
January 10, 2023: Huntsville, TN 37756 The Scott Highlanders basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Maryville Christian Eagles to 51 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Highlanders now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Halls for a 3A District 4 contest on Friday, January 13. Scott will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 66-46 non-league loss to Northview Academy (Kodak, TN). The Red Devils record now stands at 13-5.
The Eagles (12-8) will now prepare for their contest against Clayton-Bradley Academy (Maryville, TN). The Blazers come into the non-league contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Clayton-Bradley Academy was nudged by Greenback (Greenback, TN), 45-27, in a non-league contest.
