Seward Bluejays (Seward, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Schuyler Warriors (Schuyler, NE), 73-12 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Seward upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Bluejays host Waverly (Waverly, NE) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 6-4.

Next up, the Warriors play the West Point-Beemer Cadets (West Point, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Schuyler will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Cadets go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 45-38 non-league loss to Battle Creek (Battle Creek, NE).
