Iowa High School Basketball - Southeast Valley nips Webster City
January 10, 2023: Webster City, IA 50595 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Southeast Valley Jaguars (Gowrie, IA) and the host Webster City Lynx (Webster City, IA), saw Southeast Valley's basketball squad hold off Webster City by a tally of 54-52.
With the victory, Southeast Valley improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Sioux Central (Sioux Rapids, IA) to play the Rebels in a Twin Lakes challenge on Friday, January 13. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Sioux Central won 67-50 in their recent league challenge against West Bend-Mallard (West Bend, IA)
Next up, the Lynx play the Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets (Iowa Falls, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 13. Webster City will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Cadets come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 67-42 non-league loss to West Fork (Sheffield, IA).
