South Carolina High School Basketball - Wagener-Salley ripped by Williston-Elko
January 10, 2023: Williston, SC 29853 The Williston-Elko Blue Devils basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Wagener-Salley War Eagles to 31 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Tuesday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fox Creek for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12. Williston-Elko will battle a Predators team coming off a 60-7 league loss to Silver Bluff (Aiken, SC). The Predators record now stands at 1-10.
The War Eagles (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Denmark-Olar (Denmark, SC). The Vikings enter the A Region 4 contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Denmark-Olar triumphed over Blackville-Hilda (Blackville, SC), 54-3, in a league contest.
