The Sandia Matadors basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Clovis Wildcats to 52 in the Matadors non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Matadors now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cleveland for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12. Sandia will battle a Storm team coming off a 51-41 non-league loss to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Storm record now stands at 7-3.

The Wildcats (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Demons enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record.
