New Mexico High School Basketball - Volcano Vista trounces Los Lunas
January 10, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87114 The Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM), 68-33 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Hawks (6-2) will now prepare for their test against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Sartans go into the non-league test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, St. Pius X walloped Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM), 57-49, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Hobbs for a non-league test on Friday, January 13. Los Lunas will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 31-30 non-league loss to Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.
