Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Northern York ripped by Carlisle
January 10, 2024: Carlisle, PA 17013 The Carlisle Thundering Herd basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Northern York Polar Bears to 54 in the Thundering Herd non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Thundering Herd now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harrisburg for a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth contest on Friday, January 12. Carlisle will battle a Cougars team coming off a 66-43 league loss to Cumberland Valley (Mechanicsburg, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-8.
The Polar Bears (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Greencastle-Antrim (Greencastle, PA). The Blue Devils enter the Mid-Penn - Colonial contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Greencastle-Antrim triumphed over Waynesboro (Waynesboro, PA), 57-35, in a league contest.
