California High School Basketball - Workman tops Duarte
January 10, 2024: City of Industry, CA 91744 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Workman Lobos (City of Industry, CA) and the visiting Duarte Falcons (Duarte, CA), saw Workman's basketball squad knock off Duarte by a tally of 40-27.
With the victory, Workman improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Lobos travel to Sierra Vista (Baldwin Park, CA) to play the Dons in a Montview challenge on Friday, January 12. The Dons come into the challenge with a record of 12-7. Sierra Vista lost 55-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Marquez (Huntington Park, CA)
The Falcons (7-14) will now prepare for their battle against Azusa (Azusa, CA). The Aztecs come into the Montview battle with a 8-10 record. In their last battle, Azusa dropped by Nogales (La Puente, CA), 54-26, in a league battle.
