Pennsylvania High School Basketball - George School nips Hill School
January 10, 2024: Newtown, PA 18940 George School Cougars (Newtown, PA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hill School Rams (Pottstown, PA), 57-54 in a non-league bout.
With the win, George School upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to Friends' Central (Wynnewood, PA) to play the in a Friends Schools bout on Friday, January 12. The go into the bout with a record of 11-3. Friends' Central lost 64-51 in their recent league bout against Academy of the New Church (Bryn Athyn, PA)
Next up, the Rams play the Blair Academy Bucs (Blairstown, NJ) in a Mid-Atlantic Prep A bout, on Saturday, January 13. Hill School will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Bucs go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 89-57 league win over Peddie (Hightstown, NJ).
