With the victory, Mira Monte improves its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Lions host North (Bakersfield, CA) to confront the Stars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Stars come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. North won 89-13 in their recent league challenge against West (Bakersfield, CA)
Next up, the Thunderbirds confront the McFarland Cougars (McFarland, CA) in a South Sequoia challenge, on Friday, January 12. Kennedy will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 15-6 record after their 82-68 league win over Taft (Taft, CA).
