January 10, 2024: Boylston, MA 01505 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Tahanto Regional Stags (Boylston, MA) and the visiting Leicester Wolverines (Leicester, MA), saw Tahanto Regional's basketball squad knock off Leicester by a tally of 66-49.
With the victory, Tahanto Regional improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Stags host Murdock (Winchendon, MA) to play the Blue Devils in a Midland-Wachusett E challenge on Friday, January 12. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 0-7. Murdock lost 71-17 in their recent non-league challenge against North Brookfield (North Brookfield, MA)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Tantasqua Regional Warriors (Fiskdale, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Leicester will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 59-51 league win over Northbridge (Whitinsville, MA).
