Missouri High School Basketball - Marionville crushes Monett
January 10, 2024: Marionville, MO 65705 Marionville Comets (Marionville, MO) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Monett Cubs (Monett, MO), 57-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Marionville upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Comets travel to Clever (Clever, MO) to clash with the Blue Jays in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Blue Jays go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Clever lost 44-34 in their recent non-league bout against Monett (Monett, MO)
Next up, the Cubs clash with the Aurora Houn Dawgs (Aurora, MO) in a Big 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Monett will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Houn Dawgs go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 62-58 non-league win over Seymour (Seymour, MO).
