Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Milford Tigers (Milford, UT) and the host Merit Preparatory Academy Knights (Springville, UT), saw Milford's basketball squad wallop Merit Preparatory Academy by a tally of 89-52.

With the victory, Milford improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Valley (Orderville, UT) to confront the Buffalos in a 1A Region 20 challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Buffalos come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Valley won 80-48 in their recent league challenge against Escalante (Escalante, UT)

Next up, the Knights confront the Utah Military Academy - Hill Field Thunderbirds (Riverdale, UT) in a 2A Region 16 challenge, on Thursday, January 11. Merit Preparatory Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 54-50 league win over Freedom Prep Academy (Provo, UT).
