In Wednesday's non-league outing, the River View Raiders (Bradshaw, WV) basketball squad nipped the visiting Tazewell Bulldogs (Tazewell, VA), by a margin of 55-52.

The Raiders (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Mount View (Welch, WV). The Golden Knights go into the Freelance outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Mount View got by Meadow Bridge (Meadow Bridge, WV), 61-30, in a league outing.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to Marion for a Southwest outing on Friday, January 12. Tazewell will clash with a Scarlet Hurricanes squad coming off a 83-65 non-league loss to Lebanon (Lebanon, VA). The Scarlet Hurricanes record now stands at 11-4.
