The Blue Valley Southwest Timberwolves basketball team (Overland Park, KS), was overwhelmed 71-41 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting St. James Academy Thunder (Lenexa, KS)

The Thunder now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blue Valley for a Eastern Kansas battle on Friday, January 12. St. James Academy will battle a Tigers team coming off a 53-36 non-league win over Mill Valley (Shawnee, KS). The Tigers record now stands at 3-1.
