The King George Foxes basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Louisa County Lions to 28 in the Foxes non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Foxes now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chancellor for a Battlefield contest on Friday, January 12. King George will battle a Chargers team coming off a 57-6 league win over Courtland (Spotsylvania, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 10-2.

The Lions (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Orange County (Orange, VA). The Fighting Hornets come into the Jefferson contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Orange County triumphed over Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA), 52-34, in a league contest.
