Missouri High School Basketball - Lafayette ripped by Liberty North
January 10, 2024: St. Joseph, MO 64505 The Liberty North Eagles basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Lafayette Fighting Irish to 18 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Park Hill for a Suburban - Gold contest on Friday, January 12. Liberty North will meet a Trojans team coming off a 34-27 non-league win over St. Teresa's Academy (Kansas City, MO). The Trojans record now stands at 4-6.
The Fighting Irish (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Teresa's Academy (Kansas City, MO). The Stars enter the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, St. Teresa's Academy was routed by Park Hill (Kansas City, MO), 34-27, in a non-league contest.
