January 10, 2024: Fayetteville, GA 30215 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA) and the visiting East Coweta Indians (Sharpsburg, GA), saw Starr's Mill's basketball squad hold off East Coweta by a tally of 22-20.
With the victory, Starr's Mill improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Sandy Creek won 37-34 in their recent non-league challenge against McDonough (McDonough, GA)
Next up, the Indians play the Westlake Lions (Atlanta, GA) in a challenge, on Friday, January 12. East Coweta will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 39-33 league loss to Carrollton (Carrollton, GA).
