January 10, 2024: St. Petersburg, FL 33703 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Out-of-Door Academy Thunder (Sarasota, FL) and the host Shorecrest Prep Chargers (St. Petersburg, FL), saw Out-of-Door Academy's basketball squad hold off Shorecrest Prep by a tally of 50-47.
With the victory, Out-of-Door Academy improves its record to 2-7 on the campaign. The Thunder travel to Saint Stephen's Episcopal (Bradenton, FL) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 12. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 1-3.
Next up, the Chargers confront the Tampa Prep Terrapins (Tampa, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Shorecrest Prep will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Terrapins come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 47-44 non-league win over Bell Creek Academy (Riverview, FL).
