Michigan High School Basketball - Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy fells Akron-Fairgrove
January 10, 2025: Fairgrove, MI 48733 The Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy Dragons basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Akron-Fairgrove Vikings to 50 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Friday.
The Dragons now have a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Breckenridge for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy will confront a Huskies team coming off a 48-43 league loss to Montabella (Blanchard, MI). The Huskies record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, Akron-Fairgrove falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to North Huron (Kinde, MI) to confront the Warriors in a North Central Thumb game on Wednesday, January 15. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 5-3.
