New York High School Basketball - Andover overwhelms Hinsdale Central
January 10, 2025: Andover, NY 14806 The Andover Panthers basketball team scored 76 points and limited the visiting Hinsdale Central Bobcats to 17 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now have a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Bolivar-Richburg for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. Andover will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 63-44 league loss to Fillmore (Fillmore, NY). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-4.
With the loss, Hinsdale Central falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Alfred-Almond (Almond, NY) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Monday, January 13. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 0-9. Alfred-Almond lost 71-24 in their recent league match against Addison (Addison, NY)
