Hillbrook Bears (San Jose, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Apostles Lutheran Falcons (Santa Clara, CA), 51-31 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Hillbrook upgrades its record to 5-0 on the year. The Bears travel to Silicon Valley International (Menlo Park, CA) to face the Dragons in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. The Dragons enter the match with a record of 2-1. Silicon Valley International won 54-33 in their recent non-league match against Khan Lab (Mountain View, CA)

The Falcons now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calvary Christian Academy for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. Apostles Lutheran will face a Lions squad coming off a 54-49 non-league loss to Cindy Avitia (San Jose, CA). The Lions record now stands at 0-5.
