Michigan High School Basketball - Lapeer holds off Bay City Western
January 10, 2025: Auburn, MI 48611 The Lapeer Lightning basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Bay City Western Warriors to 60 in the Lightning league triumph on Friday.
The Lightning now possess a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Orion for a non-league game on Monday, January 13. Lapeer will confront a Dragons team coming off a 52-37 non-league win over Oak Park (Oak Park, MI). The Dragons record now stands at 6-5.
With the loss, Bay City Western falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Warriors host Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, MI) to confront the Oilers in a Saginaw Valley game on Tuesday, January 14.
