The Lincoln Lynx (Council Bluffs, IA) basketball edged the visiting Bellevue West Thunderbirds (Bellevue, NE), 77-70 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Lynx now possess a 8-0 record. They play next when they host Sioux City East for a Missouri River bout on Tuesday, January 14. Lincoln will play a Black Raiders team coming off a 80-40 non-league win over South Sioux City (South Sioux City, NE). The Black Raiders record now stands at 7-1.
