Massachusetts High School Basketball - Braintree thwarts Framingham
January 10, 2025: Braintree, MA 02184 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA) and the visiting Framingham Flyers (Framingham, MA), observed Braintree's basketball team knock off Framingham by a score of 57-42.
The Wamps (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Natick (Natick, MA). The Redhawks come into the Bay State - Herget challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Natick was knocked off by Wellesley (Wellesley, MA), 56-52, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Flyers encounter the Weymouth Wildcats (South Weymouth, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Framingham will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 75-56 non-league loss to Brookline (Brookline, MA).
