Nevada High School Basketball - Centennial thwarts Coronado
January 10, 2025: Las Vegas, NV 89149 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Centennial Bulldogs (Las Vegas, NV) and the visiting Coronado Cougars (Henderson, NV), observed Centennial's basketball team knock off Coronado by a score of 70-56.
The Bulldogs (17-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Arbor View (Las Vegas, NV). The Aggies come into the 5A Southern challenge with a 14-6 record. In their last challenge, Arbor View was knocked off by Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV), 92-70, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars encounter the Bishop Gorman Gaels (Las Vegas, NV) in a 5A Southern challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Coronado will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Gaels come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 76-53 league win over Foothill (Henderson, NV).
