January 10, 2025: Wilmette, IL 60091 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the DePaul College Prep Rams (Chicago, IL) and the host Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL), observed DePaul College Prep's basketball team knock off Loyola Academy by a score of 43-35.
The Rams (16-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Francis de Sales (Chicago, IL). The Pioneers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-11 record. In their last challenge, St. Francis de Sales was knocked off by St. Laurence (Burbank, IL), 81-40, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Ramblers encounter the Aurora Central Catholic Chargers (Aurora, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Loyola Academy will attempt to improve on its 14-5 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 2-15 record after their 60-27 league loss to Marmion (Aurora, IL).
