Louisiana High School Basketball - Episcopal of Acadiana can't hold off Haynes Academy
January 10, 2025: Metairie, LA 70005 Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Episcopal of Acadiana Falcons (Cade, LA), 54-53 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Haynes Academy advances its record to 7-12 on the year. The travel to Morris Jeff (New Orleans, LA) to face the Pelicans in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. The Pelicans enter the match with a record of 6-7. Morris Jeff won 49-32 in their recent non-league match against Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy (Westwego, LA)
The Falcons now own a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Martin's Episcopal for a non-league match on Saturday, January 11.
