Oregon High School Basketball - Glendale knocks off Powers
January 10, 2025: Glendale, OR 97442 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Glendale Pirates (Glendale, OR) and the visiting Powers Cruisers (Powers, OR), observed Glendale's basketball team overcome Powers by a score of 62-54.
The Pirates (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Camas Valley (Camas Valley, OR). The Hornets come into the 1A Skyline challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, Camas Valley dropped by Umpqua Valley Christian (Roseburg, OR), 44-40, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cruisers battle the Days Creek Wolves (Days Creek, OR) in a 1A Skyline challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Powers will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 59-51 league loss to North Douglas (Drain, OR).
