Washington High School Basketball - Lakes triumphant over Mount Tahoma
January 10, 2025: Lakewood, WA 98498 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Lakes Lancers (Lakewood, WA) and the visiting Mount Tahoma T-Birds (Tacoma, WA), observed Lakes's basketball team overwhelm Mount Tahoma by a score of 89-61.
The Lancers (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against North Thurston (Lacey, WA). The Rams come into the 3A Puget Sound challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, North Thurston was routed by Silas (Tacoma, WA), 58-40, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the T-Birds encounter the Timberline Blazers (Lacey, WA) in a 3A Puget Sound bout, on Wednesday, January 15. Mount Tahoma will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record. The Blazers go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 62-59 league loss to Gig Harbor (Gig Harbor, WA).
