The Liberty Magnet Patriots basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Peabody Warhorses to 46 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now have a 15-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Helena College and Career Academy for a non-league game on Monday, January 13.

With the loss, Peabody falls to 19-4 on the campaign. The Warhorses host Franklin Parish (Winnsboro, LA) to confront the Patriots in a 4A District 2 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 14-13.
