Minnesota High School Basketball - Moorhead bests Southwest Christian
January 10, 2025: Chaska, MN 55318 The Moorhead Spuds basketball team scored 78 points and limited the host Southwest Christian Stars to 70 in the Spuds non-league triumph on Friday.
The Spuds now possess a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Sauk Rapids-Rice for a AAAA Section 8 game on Saturday, January 11.
With the loss, Southwest Christian falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Stars travel to Dassel-Cokato (Cokato, MN) to confront the Chargers in a AA Section 5 game on Saturday, January 11. The Chargers go into the game with a record of 6-6. Dassel-Cokato lost 73-52 in their recent non-league game against Central (Norwood-Young America, MN)
