South Dakota High School Basketball - Warner overwhelms North Central
January 10, 2025: Warner, SD 57479 The Warner Monarchs basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting North Central Thunder to 23 in the Monarchs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Monarchs now have a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Hitchcock-Tulare for a B Region 1 game on Tuesday, January 14. Warner will confront a Patriots team coming off a 56-39 non-league loss to Faulkton (Faulkton, SD). The Patriots record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, North Central falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Thunder travel to Faulkton (Faulkton, SD) to confront the Trojans in a B Region 6 game on Saturday, January 11. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 2-4. Faulkton lost 60-27 in their recent non-league game against Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD)
