In Friday's league contest, the visiting Thayer Central Titans basketball team scored a big 48-23 triumph over the Superior Wildcats.

The Titans (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Deshler (Deshler, NE). The Dragons go into the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Deshler was trounced by Shelton (Shelton, NE), 63-53, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Fillmore Central Panthers (Geneva, NE) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 11. Superior will attempt to better on its 1-8 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 7-3 record after their 68-60 league win over Central City (Central City, NE).
