Florida High School Basketball - Jordan Christian Prep can't hold off Lake Region
January 10, 2025: Auburndale, FL 33823 Lake Region Thunder (Eagle Lake, FL) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Jordan Christian Prep Seahawks (Auburndale, FL), 56-54 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Lake Region advances its record to 7-6 on the year. The Thunder travel to Bartow (Bartow, FL) to face the Yellow Jackets in a non-league match on Monday, January 13. The Yellow Jackets enter the match with a record of 1-12. Bartow won 43-14 in their recent league match against Lakeland (Lakeland, FL)
The Seahawks now own a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Pointe Christian Academy for a Grind Session match on Tuesday, January 14. Jordan Christian Prep will face a CPCA squad coming off a 74-64 non-league loss to Cardinal Mooney (Sarasota, FL). The CPCA record now stands at 14-7.
