January 10, 2025: Lawton, OK 73507 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting MacArthur Highlanders basketball squad scored a decisive 68-25 victory over the Lawton Wolverines.
With the victory, MacArthur advances its record to 4-6 on the year. The Highlanders travel to El Reno (El Reno, OK) to meet the Indians in a 5A District 1 battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Indians enter the battle with a record of 9-0. El Reno won 42-37 in their recent non-league battle against Choctaw (Choctaw, OK)
The Wolverines now own a 0-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western Heights for a 5A District 2 battle on Tuesday, January 14. Lawton will meet a Jets squad coming off a 52-27 non-league loss to Holdenville (Holdenville, OK). The Jets record now stands at 1-7.
