The Lower Moreland Lions basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials to 48 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now have a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Villa Joseph Marie for a non-league game on Monday, January 13. Lower Moreland will confront a Jems team coming off a 38-20 league win over Merion Mercy Academy (Merion Station, PA). The Jems record now stands at 5-7.

With the loss, Plymouth Whitemarsh falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Colonials travel to Phoenixville (Phoenixville, PA) to confront the Phantoms in a non-league game on Monday, January 13.
