Virginia High School Basketball - Wakefield School overwhelms McLean
January 10, 2025: McLean, VA 22101 The Wakefield School Fighting Owls basketball team scored 46 points and limited the host McLean Highlanders to 12 in the Fighting Owls non-league triumph on Friday.
The Fighting Owls now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to George C. Marshall for a non-league game on Monday, January 13. Wakefield School will confront a Statesmen team coming off a 34-10 non-league win over Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA). The Statesmen record now stands at 5-2.
