January 10, 2025: Winthrop, WA 98862 Brewster Bears (Brewster, WA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Liberty Bell Mountain Lions (Winthrop, WA), 55-10 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Brewster upgrades its record to 4-4 on the year. The Bears travel to Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls, WA) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, January 11. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 4-5.
The Mountain Lions now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bridgeport for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. Liberty Bell will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 55-11 non-league loss to Lake Roosevelt (Coulee Dam, WA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-9.
