California High School Basketball - Basis Independent Silicon Valley holds off Pinewood
January 10, 2025: San Jose, CA 95126 The Basis Independent Silicon Valley Bobcats basketball team scored 36 points and limited the visiting Pinewood Panthers to 31 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bobcats now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Summit Shasta for a game on Tuesday, January 14. Basis Independent Silicon Valley will confront a Black Bears team coming off a 49-44 non-league win over El Camino (South San Francisco, CA). The Black Bears record now stands at 6-5.
With the loss, Pinewood falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Hillbrook (San Jose, CA) to confront the Bears in a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. The Bears go into the game with a record of 3-1. Hillbrook won 48-31 in their recent non-league game against Pinewood (Los Altos Hills, CA)
