North Carolina High School Basketball - Greenfield sneaks past Cape Fear Academy
January 10, 2025: Wilson, NC 27895 The Greenfield Knights (Wilson, NC) basketball edged the visiting Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes (Wilmington, NC), 44-40 in Friday's league bout.
The Knights now possess a 11-1 record. They play next when they travel to Epiphany for a bout on Tuesday, January 14. Greenfield will play a Falcons team coming off a 62-12 league loss to John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 1-10.
With the loss, Cape Fear Academy falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC) to play the Patriots in a bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 6-4.
