January 10, 2025: Crystal River, FL 34428 Crystal River Pirates (Crystal River, FL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Bell Bulldogs (Bell, FL), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Crystal River moves its record to 2-12 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Citrus (Inverness, FL) to clash with the Hurricanes in a 4A - Region R1 - District D4 test on Tuesday, January 14. The Hurricanes come into the test with a record of 9-7. Citrus lost 4-1 in their recent non-league test against South Lake (Groveland, FL)
The Bulldogs now sport a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trenton for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 14. Bell will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Dixie County (Cross City, FL). The Tigers record now stands at 3-10.
