January 10, 2025: New Iberia, LA 70560 The Teurlings Catholic Rebels (Lafayette, LA) soccer overwhelmed the host New Iberia Yellowjackets (New Iberia, LA), 8-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Rebels now hold a 14-0 record. They play next when they travel to St. Thomas More for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 15.
With the loss, New Iberia moves to 2-13 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to North Vermilion (Maurice, LA) to encounter the Patriots in a Division III District 3 challenge on Monday, January 13. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 11-3. North Vermilion won 5-0 in their recent league challenge against Westgate (New Iberia, LA)
