January 11, 2022: Trumbull, CT 06611 The Trumbull Eagles (Trumbull, CT) basketball nipped the visiting Danbury Hatters (Danbury, CT), 55-50 in Tuesday's league test.
The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Darien (Darien, CT). The Blue Wave go into the Fairfield County test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Darien was tipped by Westhill (Stamford, CT), 69-54, in a league test.
The Hatters now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Stamford for a Fairfield County test on Thursday, January 13. Danbury will encounter a Black Knights squad coming off a 59-54 league win over McMahon (Norwalk, CT). The Black Knights record now stands at 5-1.
