Iowa High School Basketball - North Fayette Valley fells Dowling Catholic
January 11, 2022: West Union, IA 52175 North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dowling Catholic Maroons (West Des Moines, IA), 56-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, North Fayette Valley upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The host Clayton-Ridge (Guttenburg, IA) to play the Eagles in a Upper Iowa bout on Tuesday, January 11. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Clayton-Ridge won 70-54 in their recent league bout against South Winneshiek (Calmar, IA)
Next up, the Maroons play the Johnston Dragons (Johnston, IA) in a Central Iowa Metro - West bout, on Friday, January 14. Dowling Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 64-63 non-league loss to Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA).
