The Ellington Knights basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting East Windsor Panthers to 33 in the Knights league victory on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coventry for a North Central Connecticut contest on Friday, January 14. Ellington will battle a Patriots team coming off a 57-48 league win over Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy (Hartford, CT). The Patriots record now stands at 2-2.
The Panthers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against East Granby (East Granby, CT). The Crusaders come into the North Central Connecticut contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, East Granby was routed by Granby Memorial (Granby, CT), 66-50, in a league contest.
