January 11, 2022: Nantucket, MA 02554 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Nantucket Whalers (Nantucket, MA) and the visiting Falmouth Clippers (Falmouth, MA), saw Nantucket's basketball squad wallop Falmouth by a tally of 55-29.
With the victory, Nantucket improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Whalers host Sturgis West (Hyannis, MA) to play the Navigators in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 13. The Navigators come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Sturgis West lost 42-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Upper Cape Cod RVT (Bourne, MA)
Next up, the Clippers play the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional Dolphins (South Yarmouth, MA) in a Cape & Islands - Atlantic challenge, on Tuesday, January 18. Falmouth will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Dolphins come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 52-49 non-league win over Martha's Vineyard Regional (Oak Bluffs, MA).
