Ohio High School Basketball - West Jefferson holds off Madison Plains
January 11, 2022: London, OH 43140 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the West Jefferson Roughriders (West Jefferson, OH) and the host Madison Plains Golden Eagles (London, OH), saw West Jefferson's basketball squad hold off Madison Plains by a tally of 49-42.
With the victory, West Jefferson improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Roughriders host Greenon (Springfield, OH) to confront the Knights in a Ohio Heritage challenge on Friday, January 14. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 8-3. Greenon won 60-42 in their recent league challenge against Northeastern (Springfield, OH)
Next up, the Golden Eagles confront the Triad Cardinals (North Lewisburg, OH) in a Ohio Heritage challenge, on Friday, January 14. Madison Plains will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 72-42 league loss to Catholic Central (Springfield, OH).
